What If Your Symptoms Are Trying to Tell You Something?
You know something isn’t right. You’ve tried the diets. You’ve eliminated the foods. You’ve spent hours researching symptoms online. You’ve seen doctors, specialists, and practitioners. Maybe you’ve been told your labs look “normal.” Maybe you’ve been given medications to manage symptoms but still don’t feel like yourself.
And if you’re being honest, you’re exhausted. Exhausted from thinking about your health all the time. Exhausted from trying things that don’t work. Exhausted from wondering if this is simply your new normal.
Because the symptoms aren’t just affecting your body. They’re affecting your energy, your confidence, your relationships, your work, and your ability to fully show up for the people and experiences that matter most.
You don’t want another temporary fix. You want answers. You want to understand what’s happening in your body and what you can do to support it. Most of all, you want your life back.
I understand because I’ve been there too. My own health journey began in high school and continued through college while I was juggling stress, academics, and the pressure to keep everything together. Over time, I experienced digestive issues, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, insomnia, hormone imbalances, and eventually autoimmune disease in the form of ulcerative colitis.
Like many of my clients, I didn’t feel good in my body. My confidence declined. My grades suffered because I struggled to focus. My relationships felt shallow because so much of my energy was being spent simply trying to feel okay. I also developed an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise as I searched for answers and tried to gain control over my symptoms that felt completely unpredictable.
I did what many people do. I saw specialists. I tried medications. I experimented with different diets. Some things helped. Some things didn’t. But deep down, I couldn’t shake the feeling that there had to be more to the story.
Everything changed when I learned to support my body differently. While working alongside an integrative physician, I was introduced to an entirely different way of thinking about health. For the first time, I saw how nutrition, stress management, sleep, movement, targeted supplementation, and lifestyle choice could work together to support the body’s natural healing processes.
I realized that symptoms often aren’t random. They’re information. They’re clues.
As I began making changes to support my gut health and overall well-being, I started noticing something remarkable happening. My mind became clearer. My anxiety improved. My digestion became more regular. Within about six months of implementing the nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement strategies my body needed, I experienced a transformation I once wasn’t sure was possible.
For the first time in years, I felt hopeful. More importantly, I felt empowered. I finally understood that my body wasn’t working against me. It was asking for support.
That experience changed the direction of my life. My background in biology first sparked my interest in understanding how the body works, but it was my personal experience that led me to nutrition and whole-body wellness.
After working in an integrative medicine office, I knew I had found my passion.
I completed my health coaching certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, earned my Master’s degree in Integrative Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health, and became Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition with additional specialization in herbal therapies.
Today, through Holistically Nourished LLC, I combine evidence-based science, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and individualized support to help clients better understand what may be contributing to inflammation and chronic symptoms.
Because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to health.
Every body is different.
Every story is different.
Every plan should reflect that.
My role isn’t to be the hero of your story. It’s to be your guide. Many of my clients initially believe they have a skin problem. Or a gut problem. Or a hormone problem. But the body doesn’t work in isolated systems. Everything is connected. Often, what shows up on the skin, in digestion, or in energy levels can be influenced by what is happening elsewhere in the body.
My goal is to help you understand those connections so you can make informed decisions about supporting your health. Together, we’ll focus on identifying the factors that may be contributing to inflammation and symptoms while creating a realistic plan that fits your life.
Here’s what working together looks like:

Step 3: Build Sustainable Change
You’ll gain practical tools, knowledge, and confidence so you can support your health long after our work together ends.
